I am a professional musician, conductor, ethnomusicologist,fully qualified teacher and music therapist. Teach all brass instruments and piano to diploma standard, and work with people with special needs, in groups or individually. Music therapy for all age groups and conditions; chidren to elderly, mental health, neurology, autism, sensory impairments and learning disabilities. Experienced piano accompanist for AB exams, ballet classes, pantomimes/shows, choirs etc. Additionally specialize in Japanese music and Indonesian gamelan. With additional language and TEFL background I combine music, songs and language for migrants to learn Enlgish and address issues surrounding settlement. Conductor of bands, choirs, orchestras. Also musical adjudicator. Workshops in ethnic music for schools and for adult community groups. Theory is taugt usually as part of the lessons, but can be seperate for exam preparation.
