I have over 20 years of teaching experience and teach a wide range of abilities, from beginners to advanced diploma and degree level students, and also give continuing professional development and consultation lessons to music professionals. I have a 100% success rate at pupils entering graded examinations gaining Merit or Distinction. I am a former Director of Music at an independent school rated third in the country during my time there. I am also an active performer at a number of prestigious venues in the UK. In addition to teaching music, until going freelance recently, I was organist and choirmaster at Paignton Parish Church for 13 years, and Musical Director of Britannia Choral Society based at the Royal Naval College, Dartmouth for 11 years. I am also busy as a much sought-after accompanist and conductor.
