Specialities include Piano and Access to Classical Guitar. Most other instrumental teaching I do is of a generalist nature (e.g. accordion/banjo/lap steel etc) and is therefore suited for beginners who are new to music, or people who are struggling to get into the style/technique. I can of course help with getting to grips with the Theory side of things!

*Suitable for fun learning and serious study
*Lively teaching approach tailored to the needs of the individual student.
*Tuition available for suitable ABRSM Grades candidates (including Jazz)
*Strong focus on basic principles – with a clear allocation of instruction toward the development of technical, aural and sight reading skills.
*Good knowledge of teaching methods from masters both ancient (CPE Bach, Clementi & Hummel) and modern (Agay, Waterman, Camp, Last).
*Interest in modern pop music, including performance, composition and recording.
*Interested in folk music/ instruments.
*Very enthusiastic about helping complete beginners
