If you are looking for a kind, patient and willing piano teacher with more than just experience, but also actively in the business of music and performing then please read on. I am a concert pianist with over 10 years experience performing around the world, classical recording artist for EMEC Discos and piano & theory teacher. I am very experienced, aiming to cover and help any and all hangups you might encounter in your playing through detailed work on technique, hand and body position and musical analysis. Lessons are conducted in a sound proofed music room from my home on a new Boston grand piano. Unfortunately, due to an already busy schedule I am unavailable to travel to potential students homes. I achieved my degrees from the Royal College of Music, where I received Distinctions for my chosen exams and am happy to provide references. I have extensive experience with Children and Adults and am a respected piano teacher in Aldenham School. I have given master-classes in some of England's top Schools to more accomplished pianists and helped students go onto gain places at specialist music schools. I encourage pupils to go through the ABRSM exam routine, but this is by no means essential. I would rather you enjoyed what you were doing first. I do ask that potential beginners have access to a piano or keyboard to practise on.
