Lessons are taught in Frodsham and in store at New Street Music, Widnes. , , John Wallace has over 15 years playing experience and is a very active drummer playing with Liverpool based bands performing original material. In recent years these bands have achieved Radio plays nationally and locally, including live sessions for BBC Radio Merseyside and achieving Gideon Coe’s “Whammo of the Week” on BBC 6 Music. In summer 2008 one of John’s bands performed to over 8,000 as main support for Crowded House at Liverpool Arena as part of the Summer Pops 2008 Festival. In these bands John has toured the UK and Europe several times., , John began teaching three years ago and has not looked back since. Some of his students have sat Graded Examinations with Trinity Guildhall and to date 100% of John’s students who have taken Grades have passed (66% of those passed with Distinction). Students may also sit Rockschool grades if they wish to do so as of Summer 2009.
