Violin I am a friendly and patient violin teacher at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, the University of Bath and the Paragon School, with a private teaching practice in Bath city centre., , I teach any age and ability. For students who wish to do so, I follow the ABRSM exam syllabus, although I have a broad knowledge of repertoire of different styles to suit the individual pupil. A high percentage of my students have achieved Distinction in their ABRSM exams. I also use the Suzuki repertoire, having studied this myself, which has an excellent range of pieces., , I like to arrange regular informal concerts for my pupils for them to play to each other if they wish to, as I believe regular performing is an important aspect of musical development., , I am willing to travel to pupils' houses if they prefer, for a slightly higher fee to cover extra travel/time costs., , I also freelance as a violinist in operas, orchestras and chamber groups, as well as giving recitals as part of my violin and piano duo.
