Voice / singing, Piano, theory Kira Emslie is a highly qualified Singer, vocal coach and piano teacher currently working and performing in Edinburgh, Kira has a Degree in Music from Sussex University and is currently studying to do her music masters with Trinity College in London. Kira has been teaching for over 5 years in both Scotland and England including at the Alexander Dance Academy in Brighton, Bodman School of Music in Dundee, Most Entertaining in Edinburgh, Aria Alba Opera company and RSAMD, , In addition to private lessons Kira also run Most Entertaining's Edinburgh Voices choir a group for all ages and abilities. I am enthusiastic and always try to weave artistic and hands-on ways of learning, both of instruments and theory.I encourage my students to develop an appreciation of diverse musical styles., , Singing Lessons, I work with each student, helping them achieve their learning goals. Lessons include warm-up exercises, voice technique and building exercises. Based on the student’s goals and abilities, I help them pick challenging songs to work towards mastering. Once each song has been mastered, applying new vocal techniques and styles, we will record it, building a portfolio of recordings. , , Piano Lessons, , Piano lessons are classically based. Students may be working through the ABRSM exam process, or they may simply be learning for the enjoyment of it.
