You can decide to take official grades from either rockschool grades or RGT grades, or alternatively, you can follow my own personal teaching material which is influenced by what YOU want to learn as well as all the techniques I think you need to learn., , Whether your aim is to just strum a few chords or become a pro musician, there will be something I can help you with. Sight reading will NOT be forced upon you if you don't want to do it. Grades are not essential in becoming a great guitar player which is why I offer both options to students and if they like, a mixture of the two., , , , If you don't want to learn alone there is also the option of pairs lessons. Harp (both lever and pedal, classical and folk - with a leaning towards welsh music), Students can work through ABRSM grades,have regular performance and competition opportunities plus the chance to tour, regular master classes with David Watkins and a chance to become members of either Harpz The Derbyshire Harp Ensemble or Junior Harpz. Students get to take part in the Derbyshire International Harp Festival and work with the leading teachers and students from home and abroad.
