, Clarinet I am a professional and experienced musician. I teach Saxophone and clarinet to all ages and standard, from classical (Associated Royal School of Music board)to blues, and jazz and basic improvisation.I can also give tution in theory and help with any ensemble work the student may have.
Guitar I teach Rock, blues, pop, metal, classical and theory. All exams are catered for although i prefer to use Rock School for electric and LCM for classical. , , I teach in schools in Solihull as well as from home. I have played numerous gigs with various bands up and down the country as well as abroad. I regularly play in theatre shows and concerts with the schools. I have run ensembles and at present run a school rock band.
Drum Kit, Drum Set, Drums I have taught mainly one to one privately but have taught in small groups., Technique is closely watched during the lessons students are reminded the ‘correct’ technique but I allow each student to develop their own personal style., Playing drums is an incredibly rewarding instrument and from the very first lesson you can get very satisfying results. If you would like to study the instrument in depth or you just want to sit down, rock out and Batter the skins, you can with drums., I encourage all of my students to show an interest in the theory side of drums, although they don’t have to. However theory does allow a better musical understanding of the music
