MusicTeachers.co.uk Promotion
Therefore on Wednesday 8th February the Daily Mail will publish a voucher for a free half hour introductory lesson, together with lots of encouragement for readers to take the plunge and make the first steps on the long road to musicianship. The emphasis will be on the profound value of sustained commitment to learning music and on the huge range of professional expertise and qualification offered by our members. Of course, teachers on our site are not obliged in any way to participate in this promotion, which is why we have made it an ‘opt in’ event. All teachers will be assumed not to participate in this promotion unless they follow the opt-in procedure outlined below. MusicTeachers.co.uk will make it clear to all readers of the Daily Mail who is involved in the promotion and who is not. Equally any teacher wishing to participate in the promotion remains entitled to refuse their services at their discretion. There is no other cost or obligation involved in participation other than a preparedness to offer a free half-hour introductory lesson to bearers of a Daily Mail voucher. Member details will not be passed on to any third party - as is our strict policy - nor will they be published in any way other than on the MusicTeachers.co.uk website as you wish them to be presented when you create your account. How do I opt-in to participate? To advertise your participation to Daily Mail readers, all you need to do is to log in to your account at www.musicteachers.co.uk and add an asterisk (*) at the end of your surname. We will be telling readers that if they wish to redeem a voucher they can only contact teachers who have an asterisk by their name in search results. When the promotion is over (vouchers are valid until 31 March 2012), this asterisk will be removed. Here is an example of a teacher participating in this promotion.
I don't wish to participate - do I need to do anything? No, you don't need to do anything. We will be directing Daily Mail readers to contact only teachers who display the asterisk against their name. We understand and respect the reasons held by those who do not wish to participate. For these teachers operation of our service will continue entirely as normal, although we do expect a significant increase in traffic on our website during the promotion and this will be to the benefit of all who advertise their services on MusicTeachers.co.uk. MusicTeachers.co.uk works in association with the Musicians' Union
The offer is available to UK residents only. Children under the age of 16 should be accompanied by a parent or guardian. |

As you may be aware, MusicTeachers.co.uk has been given a great opportunity to promote its members in the Daily Mail as part of a major national promotion.
