Natural Acoustics Recording Company ( www.naturalacoustics.co.uk )
Natural Acoustics is a Glasgow based company specializing in professional, high quality natural sounding recordings. Particularly working with acoustic performers for example: orchestras, jazz bands, swing bands, choirs, quartets and solo musicians. Using naturally ambient spaces like a Church or Cathedral ensures very little post production (artificial reverb / compression) is required. The result is a recording which sounds as natural as if you were standing in the room during the original performance. The recording techniques are centered around the careful placement of a single stereo pair of very high quality microphones. Using this method results in recordings that are not only true to the original performance but also allows the musicians to play together as musicians, that is to say the moment and the feeling is captured as well.
