You must sing as an echo three short phrases. You will hear the
key chord first followed by a pulse (2 bars of 2/4 or 1 bar of 3/4). The three
phrases will follow immediately, and a wood block will help keep the pulse in the
echo sections. Examples 1-4 are in 2/4 and 5-8 in 3/4

You will first hear the key-chord and the pulse (1 bar). A two
bar melody will follow straight on, then a bar of silence and then the altered
version. You must decide whether the change was RHYTHMIC or MELODIC and then try
to be more specific about what difference you heard. Write down your answers to
all 8 examples before looking at the answers.
