Teaching students from 7 years upwards, I work with a very 'tension free' approach and am happy to teach people of all ages and abilities, whether it is purely for the pleasure of learning an instrument or in working towards a grade exam. My emphasis is strongly on general musicianship as well as technique and I am happy to work at a pace suitable for each students individual needs. I am happy to work on performances issues such as stage fright or physical tension, as well as developing ensemble skills. Lessons are not available at weekends.
