Anthony began his venture into Musical Theatre at the tender age of 6, appearing in a local production of “Fiddler on the Roof” with Oldham Metropolitan A.O.S. At the age of 12, he studied the ABRSM Syllabus in Piano & Vocal Studies.

In 2003 he completed his Grade 5 Musical Theory and in 2006 completed his Grade 8 Practical Exams, earning a Distinction for both.

In 2003, Anthony decided to pick up the baton and served as Musical Director for Oldham Metropolitan A.O.S., working on productions such as “The King & I”, “The Sound of Music”, The U.K. Premiere of Jerry Herman’s “Showtune” and the NODA Award Winning production of “Aladdin”.

Over the years his role has varied between onstage performances in “Anything Goes”, “South Pacific” & “Oliver!” as well as Musical Directing productions of “Honk!”, “Sweet Charity”, “Les Miserables” and Disney’s “High School Musical”.

Anthony has also worked as a freelance musician for many including productions of “We Will Rock You”, “Little Shop of Horrors”, “Our House” and “Guys and Dolls”.

In 2007, Anthony was nominated for Best Musical Director at the Manchester Musical Awards for his work on “Oliver!”. Since then he has earned nominations both with the Manchester Musical Awards and Greater Manchester Drama Federation for productions of “Les Miserables” and “Robin Prince of Sherwood”.

Recently, Anthony has turned towards producing and has successfully directed productions of “Hello, Dolly!”, “The Pirates of Penzance” and the North-West Premiere of “The Witches of Eastwick”.

In 2009, Anthony gained the title of “Head of Music” for The 2 Faced Theatre Company. His work for the company includes; teaching at their stage school* in Tameside, supervising the music departments for their other schools, Musical Directing the Company’s various productions as well as working as Musical Supervisor for the company’s professional shows, such as a brand new One Act Musical, “Glee School Musical”, a revue featuring songs from Disney’s “High School Musical” and the hit t.v. series “Glee”.

Anthony has recently been working as a freelance vocal coach and musical director and has had the chance to work with students from Rochdale Sixth Form College, preparing them for their production of "Little Shop of Horrors" as well as working at Arden School of Theatre. At the Arden, Anthony worked with the 3rd year Musical Theatre Degree students on their professional shows.

In 2011, Anthony made his West End Debut Musical Directing a showcase at the Soho Theatre.

When he isn’t rehearsing, Anthony focuses on arranging well-known songs for (SATB) choirs as well as providing Private Musical Tuition and Audition Prep.
