I am a versatile tenor with a passion for performing music at the highest standard. I regularly have new works written for me and I feel that being an active performer is crucial to being a communicative, passionate and enthusiastic teacher. My work as a vocal coach has led me to focus on contemporary music, especially graphic notation, and Iregularly give workshops on a cappella and vocal technique/communication. I continue my studies and repertoire work with two of the best vocal teachers in the UK. As a composer I have received commissions from Universities, art galleries, art collectives and individuals. My training at Oxford led me to work with some of the best musicologists and composers in Europe. I am more than happy to teach music theory, musicology, A-Level and GCSE music. Lessons are taught periodically balancing work on technique and repertoire. All lessons are tailored to fit the individual’s needs.
