Keeping Children Safe in Music is the latest in the EduCare's series of distance learning courses on child protection. The training programme uses short films to show a variety of good and bad practice examples, which will be available to watch online. It will help anyone teaching music to children gain a better understanding of their child protection responsibilities, and avoid situations that could lead to accusations of misconduct.

Michael studied piano and composition at the Guildhall school of Music & Drama, and has a Masterís degree with distinction from the London College of Music. He is currently completing his Doctoral studies in Composition at Royal Holloway, University of London. He has worked as musical director for the Royal Shakespeare Company, and is currently writing his first work for the London Symphony Orchestra.
