I have had a great deal of experience in teaching all styles to people of all ages. As well as teaching privately I am currently employed by 'Access to Music' (York) as head of the drum department, where I teach advanced pupils aged 16 - 19. I am a very experienced performer, having played in a number of bands, including Omar Puente's Latin Big Band, various Big/Swing bands, a free jazz ensemble, and toured in France in 2007 with a Jazz Piano Trio. I am also the drummer/percussionist for the Leeds based acoustic/pop band The Redwood Thinkers.
