I have a modern, casual approch to teaching.
I have both a classical and modern background, and have studied the estill technique which is widely used across all genres and especially in the west end. It is a technique that covers all aspects of singing, all styles / genres and focuses on vocal health.
It is reknowned for giving the student the ability to sing in varied styles across the board, and training the singer to be very versatile.
As a profesional singer myself, I have reaped the rewards of this training...I sing professionally in bands completely varying in styles from my funk band, which also includes styles such as blues soul reggae and ska,... my jazz band, which includes swing, latin and blues....to my more commercial pop/rock band. I also sing classical music too!!
L.C.M. Exams grades are optional, and my students have a 100% pass rate.
I can perform the lessons in the privacy of your own home if preferred, within a reasonable distance.
I cater for all ages and standards, even if you want to sing for a hobby!! ....and yes, everyone can be taught to sing!!
Most importantly, I firmly believe that singing lessons should be not only educational but FUN! |
