If you’re looking to learn the drums from scratch or build on your current abilities then get in touch and see if I can help you reach your goals. Much of my teaching is based on several years private tuition I received at the DrumTech teaching school and includes:- Timekeeping Dynamics Reading and understanding drum music Co-ordination Technique (including the Moeller technique) Ideas for rhythms and fills I can also pass on skills acquired during 20 years of working with a variety of bands including:- Learning song parts Charting complete songs Leading the band I teach from my home in the Bretton area of Peterborough. All lessons are taught using a Roland TD-12 electronic kit which includes realistic sensitive drum heads and cymbals and utilises standard kick drum and hi-hat pedals.
