A graduate of the Royal College of Music (London) and the University of Birmingham, Andrew Eales has the professional training and performing experience that is essential in order to deliver the highest quality of teaching. He is well known throughout the UK for his tuition publications and as a regular consultant to the leading educational organisations such as the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music.
Although trained as a classical musician, Andrew also teaches jazz and other contemporary styles. Many students enter ABRSM Grade examinations, with 100% pass rate and around 80% gaining Merit or Distinctions, well above the norm. Music Theory (including exam preparation) can be taught as part of regular lessons.
Andrew's students learn in his fully equipped specialist teaching studio in Heelands, close the the centre of MK, and enjoy the best facilities and expertise available to assist in their learning. In addition to the piano itself, the studio includes a Yamaha Tyros 2 keyboard, extensive music and teaching resources, a music computer and recording equipment.
Parents and siblings can relax in the comfortable waiting area, which overlooks the teaching studio via glass panelled doors.
Andrew is fully CRB checked and has public indemnity insurance. He is a full elected member of the Incorporated Society of Musicians.
