Knowsley Young Musician of the Year 1995.
Maghull Festival of Music competition winner 1995.
Highly commended in Raymond Bakst Memorial Competition for the playing of Chopin (RNCM).
I am a training concert pianist, and have been studying for a year at the Royal Northern College of Music on a PG diploma course. I am currently having a gap year, before resuming my studies.
I have a deep passion for music, and a wide appreciation of music of most styles and periods. I have been teaching privately for 4 years. My own teachers have included Murray Mclachlan (head of keyboard at Chetham's School of Music), Sally Ann Macleod (tutor at RNCM), and I was recently given the opportunity to study with Stephen Savage, one of the great English teachers.
I have been teaching for 4 years. I enjoy it very much, and always try to make my lessons as enthusiastic and enjoyable. And above all, I believe in the full responsibility in guiding the pupil musically and technically in as correct and honest way as possible. |
