| Notes: |
In the lessons we can look at anything from technical exercises, improvisation to theory, aural skills, transcription, grooving, sight reading or grade exams.
We can look at jazz standard charts, popular bass lines, walking bass, etc. learned from notation or ear.
The lessons will be focused on becoming a useful and musical player who has a strong sense of time and can apply skills to a variety of situations. I will also advise on how to maintain equipment and give advice about purchases of new instruments, amplifiers or accessories.
I am a professionally practicing bass player rather than a guitarist who plays bass. It is always better that you get a specialized bass teacher who knows the subtleties of the instrument.
The lesson can be delivered at your own home or at my flat near New Cross Gate overground station. Please contact to work out details.
I am a member of the Musicians Union and insured for public liability.
All ages are welcome.
