I provide professional guitar tuition in a huge range of styles. These include Classical, Pop, Jazz, Rock, Blues, Salsa, Slide guitar, Lap steal, and a wide variety of Traditional music.
Price
Individual hourly lessons are charged at £15. Tuition at you're location in Edinburgh can be arranged at a minimal extra charge.
Group Lessons can be arranged. Charges start at £25 per hour for 2 students. An addition of £5 will be charged for each additional student. Maximum students 4.
Discounts are available on block bookings of 8 or more.
Dependant on your personal circumstance individual discounts may be available.
Getting the right kind of guitar tuition can really make a dramatic difference to your advancement at any level. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced player.
I offer tuition that caters for your individual needs. All my students are given the opportunity to learn music theory as it relates to guitar harmony and to learn to read music.
However I know that this can be off putting to some musicians. If you don't want to learn to read music I have the ability to provide you with learning materials that don't require you to read music.
I do provide Classical Guitar tuition. This can follow the current Trinity College Syllabus. Or if you just wish to develop your technique and repertoire.
People have differing ways of learning new things; I offer a service that can create individualized learning methods. If you respond better to diagrams and CD's rather than standard music notation or Tablature I can provide you with the right materials and tuition.
For beginners I provide a comprehensive starter pack that offers you a variety of learning options dependent on your aptitude to a specific method of learning.
For those of you who have some experience and wish to develop in a given style again I can offer a wide range of development courses to suit your needs. Just contact me.
Availability
lessons are available throughout the week, both evenings and during the day. Weekends may also be available. Contact me for availability.
Location
I am based in central Edinburgh at Grove St, Haymarket and mainly teach from my home although I will travel to do lessons in other parts of Edinburgh by arrangement. |
