Experienced teacher, having taught for 20 years privately, in schools and as Director of the music school Maoin Choeil an Chlaire in Ennis, County Clare, Ireland. I tailor tuition to suit individual needs and preferences.

With performing experience ranging from folk festival to concert hall contexts, I am currently a member of the Yorkshire Wind Orchestra (see www.yorkshirewinds.co.uk), and play from time to time with the Airedale Symphony Orchestra. I also play with Sospiri Wind Quintet. My teaching style is friendly, fun and disciplined, and influenced by my use of the Alexander Technique which helps anyone interested in learning to play with maximum ease / minimum physical and mental strain (see www.stat.org.uk).

Please do get in touch if you're interested in learning the instrument or want to continue your studies with a fresh approach.
