I've been playing and teaching the guitar since the early 1980's. I play all styles of music, and my special interests are Jazz, Blues, and Classical.

I teach all ages - from complete beginner to advanced levels.

Study individually or in small groups - for groups of two or more I charge £10 per hour - my group lessons are a great way to learn to play whilst making new friends. Groups also learn to perform together - which can be useful for building playing confidence.


During the 1990's I worked at the Guitar Institute - one of the first modern music schools in the UK. As Director Of Operations, I played a role in setting up the UKs first performance focused dedicated rock guitar degree.
