Biography

Kathryn Oxley BA(Ed)Hons, M(Mus)RSAMD is a registered private singing teacher with The Incorporated Society of Musicians. She studied concert singing at The Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, graduating in 2001. She has taken part in masterclasses with the Kings Consort, Paul Hamburger and Benjamin Luxon, been on Radio 3 with the RSAMD choir, and won numerous awards in local competitions. She plays numerous instruments and enjoys a wide variety of musical styles. Until recently she performed and taught singing whilst in the role of head of music at a local secondary school but has now returned to her passion of being a full-time freelance singing teacher.
