Biography

After starting blues guitar with my Dad at the age of five I was later taught by famous and influential names such as Dan Kellerher from the 101ers (The Clash) and PJ Harvey's guitarist, John Parish. I have been teaching full-time for eight years, mainly for North Somerset Music Service (UK number 1 service!) and privately. Tuition I provide can prepare students for Trinity-Guildhall and Rockschool examination grades of all levels.



Throughout my music career I have been a successful live artist and session musician, performing in bands for over 20 years, touring the UK and Europe and playing many famous venues and festivals including the The Radio 1 awards, Brixton Academy, Glastonbury Festival, Global Gathering, and have recorded at the world-famous Maida Vale studios.



As an accomplished composer, music producer and sound engineer, I have over 15 years' studio experience which I can offer in addition to guitar technique. Particularly I enjoy the electronic implementation of effects, midi and controllers.
