Biography

Greg Houghton- Professional bass player based in Brighton East Sussex. Has years of experience as a pro player/ teacher and is an active touring and gigging musician. Greg is currently a lecturer of music at Northbrook College, Sussex. Greg is a diverse bass player who has mastered a range of styles and is currently in high demand as a bass player and a tutor.


Tuition with Greg Houghton offers students the opportunity to develop and master their own bass playing in a wide range of different styles as well as the chance to develop their own musicianship and 'voice' on the bass. Greg also offers music theory and harmony tuition which can be integrated within lessons or taught separately to instrumental tuition.
