Craig studied as a countertenor at the Birmingham Conservatoire under Nicholas Clapton and afterwards Barbara Robotham.
Craig has worked for LEA music services and schools before becoming the principal of Stagecoach Congleton & Macclesfield. Craig is currently a tutor of singing at Bird College, one of the UK's leading musical theatre colleges. He has also worked at LIPA and other successful vocational colleges.
Craig began to teach students with interests in Musical Theatre and Pop/Rock. He realised that his classical technique and style simply did not apply. Studying the Estill Voice Model has helped him to bridge the gap and he has been delighted to see the improvement in his students.
Craig operates a studio in Stoke-on-Trent and, from August 2011, in Birmingham. He also operates a practice group in Birmingham for anyone who has done a Level 1 and 2 course and wishes to work with a qualified Estill teacher. As an Estill course intern Craig has worked with singers, actors as well as speech and language therapists.
His affiliations include the British Voice Association, Association of Teachers of Singing, and Reeve & Møller Vocal Consultancy.
