Biography

Andy was born and educated in Harpenden and went to St Georges School where he sang in the chapel choir there. after attending the Royal College of Music studying singing as a counter tenor, He became a music teacher in a junior school and then later in a middle school in Leighton Buzzard . it was while he was at this school that he discovered a panache for youth musical theatre and found himself avidly writing his own musicals! later in self employment he founded the 'Leighton Buzzard Youth Theatre' and the 'Leighton Buzzard Childrens Theatre' and ran these along with other young peoples groups (mainly in the east northants area) until in may 2007 he retired from this work having put on 120 of his own instigated productions. Since then he has rediscored his own singing voice as a bass baritone with regular performances of his own singing gigs particularly the ww2 one, which has 29 popular war time songs in the programme.





And he is able to concentrate on helping people develop their own singing. He doesnt teach piano but uses it as an accompanist in his singing teaching sessions and also accompanies himself in his own singing gigs.
