Biography

Mike has been playing guitar since he was 17, at 19 he attended the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford and achieved a HND pass in 1998. He later joined a variety of different successful function bands playing in the Surrey area and also busked in the streets of Woking.

Mike has been teaching guitar since 2006 and has helped many students achieve a good level on the guitar using his knowledge to make each lesson interesting, enjoyable and fun. Mike teaching every element of the instrument including music theory, aural perception, intervals, chords, sight reading, improvisation, tone and quality of sound.

MIke can be seen playing guitar in a variety of bands including www.thelateshift.co.uk a local function band and www.ukpfe.com a Pink Floyd tribute band.
