Biography

I Started playing guitar when I was thirteen years old. I have not been to a Conservatoire of Music, however, I have been teaching (classical and electric), and performing since 2002. In this time, I have learnt many pieces above grade 8,and have transcribed works by Chopin, Mozart and Satie, amongst others. I am presently preparing an ATCL Diploma, (will sit this in 2011).
In addition to teaching individually, I am employed as a Guitar Teacher at a local school, and by Oxfordshire County Music Service.
I have experience of putting students through three examination bodies: ABRSM, Trinity (both classical and rockschool) and London College of Music. In this time, I have put in over hundred students (from initial grade to grade 7) in for practical exams, with only one fail during this period. I also plan to set up a function band before the beginning of 2011.
