Biography

Read music at University of York followed by studies in advanced performing skills at Royal Northern College of Music. Guest player with various orchestras as well as a recital career both here and abroad. Taught at private schools including Ampleforth College and Harrogate Ladies College. Passionate about teaching and have a 100% pass rate in ABRSM pupil exams though many of my adults in particular choose not to do these but to explore great music with me for its own sake. For me I can empathise with this as it is the music and the essence of what it is expressing to us all that really captivates me and informs my approach. I live for my music and I hope this shows!
