I also wanted to quickly get to be able to play 80's tunes from Madness and the like. Nick went the extra mile for me by giving me more than I asked for and help me to play one step beyond in no time at all. Nick is patient and considerate, top qualities for a tutor. “As a complete beginner, I hired Nick to teach me the alto sax. A fabulous and inspiring teacher providing really fun lessons. He has all the technical gizmos too, if you're into iPhone apps and computer aids. He will also write you any music you choose, if you can't find it elsewhere, meaning you can play whatever you like whenever you like. I still LOVE the careless whisper melody that Nick prepared for me. Have to admit, I am not a fan of theory, but Nick with aid of gizmos tries to make as interesting as can be - even engaging the most reluctant of students!! I am having a break from lessons at the moment but will definitely look to hire Nick again when I am ready to move onto the next level. I would highly recommend him to you.
