Biography

Katrin originates from Kiel, Germany and studied the flute at the Academy of Music in Detmold. She later moved to Berlin and graduated from the Academy of Arts in February 2000.







Whilst in Berlin, Katrin worked as a freelance flautist in orchestras and chamber music ensembles. She has been teaching the flute since 1992. After moving to England in September 2003, she continued her work as a flautist and flute teacher. Katrin is a member of Sussex Flutes. (www.sussexflutes.com).







She lives with her young daughter Nina and partner Stefan in Brighton.
