| Ability Levels: |
Beginners to Advanced |
I am experienced and successful in teaching any ability and age. I'm a relaxed and patient teacher and happy teaching complete beginners to advanced students. I am the jazz woodwind tutor at Bath Spa University, one of the 4 teachers at the Blowout Saxophone School and also teach in primary and secondary schools in Bath. I work as both a instrumental teacher and professional musician.
I teach all the fundamentals of playing well. As well as teaching how to read music notation, I am also successful at teaching improvisation. I can suggest music for you to work on, or help you with any music you’d like to bring along.
Should you wish to take grade exams, I have a 100% pass rate. I use both the ABRSM and Trinity Guildhall jazz and classical syllabuses, depending on your preference. I have had many students pass grade 8 jazz with distinction. |
