Biography

I studied at the Northern School of Music (later the Royal Northern School of Music), and read Music at Sussex University. I took my Masters there in 1987, focussing on aesthetics and composition. I hope to help students find their musical spirit, and express it at whatever level they can. I have always improvised at the keyboard and enjoy helping students develop this skill.
