Vicky is a brilliant guitar teacher. She is excellent at motivating me when I am finding things difficult. She is very patient and breaks things down so that things become easier to learn. She is always very positive about my playing even when I am having an “off” day. She always makes me feel accomplished and never silly. I have been trying to learn guitar for the last 4 years on my own with little success. After 7 weeks with Vicky I really feel as though I will one day be a decent guitarist. Confidence is a gift which Vicky provides. And she always answers her front door with a smile which sets us beginners off on the right foot |

Vicky has been teaching me for over two years and I have learnt a great number of songs, and a variety of techniques.
She is a wonderful teacher and I have thoroughly enjoyed learning with her. |

For many many years I had always had the desire to learn to play the guitar and then one day I passed a second hand shop to see a classical guitar in the window. I purchased the guitar and then thought 'crikey, where do I go from here' not having even held a guitar before!
Luckily my next step was finding Vicky and what a good step that was. I was extremely nervous and anxious, not being a spring chicken anymore, but Vicky could not of made me feel anymore at ease than she did. In just five months I can now put together a few tunes and with Vicky's patience and tuition feel that this is just the beginning. I would highly recommend Vicky to anyone. |

I started having lessons with Vicky just over a year ago, as a complete beginner, and she has been wonderfully patient and encouraging during that time. Vicky has been completely supportive in helping me to progress through many songs and chords, whilst also gently motivating me when needed! It’s clear that Vicky wants the lesson to be an enjoyable and stretching experience for me and plans for songs that I’m interested in learning and that also demand a little bit more. She is very friendly and approachable and puts me at my ease; all in all a great guitar teacher! |

Vicky is an amazing teacher! I have been going to her for just over a year now and I have learnt so many things which I could have never learnt on my own. She is always very flexible with her lessons and is happy to go over things which you don't understand. She is patient and assuring which is particularly helpful when you are a beginner, she also makes lessons genuinely enjoyable and I look forward to them every week. I would definitely recommend Vicky to anyone who wants to learn guitar! |

My husband and I approached Vicky 9 months ago to teach us as beginners. Throughout the time we attended her lessons she has been flexible in arrangements, enthusiastic and fun during the lessons and always on the end of the telephone when we needed more advice. We have found her teaching method tailored to exactly what we needed and have enjoyed our time with her. |

Before I had Vicky as a teacher, my Mum had to remind me to practice the guitar. Now I pick the instrument up by choice and learn really cool music. She also makes really good cakes! |

I had been learning on my own for a while from books and DVDs and had got so far, playing a few simple songs. But I was stuck in a rut and was beginning to believe that I had hit my ceiling. Vicky helped me blast through my barriers and introduced me to chords and techniques that I would not have tried on my own. Having my teacher believe in my abilities when I was not so sure of them myself was a huge factor in my progress. Now I am playing stuff I dreamed about playing when I first picked up a guitar. And I have enough confidence in my playing to try out new stuff myself and have even played in front of audiences! |
