Biography

Guitar Weekends was set up in 1994 to teach hobby players on a residential weekend course using professional tutor/players. Up untill March 2012 the weekends were held at Beckfoot Country House in the Lake District home and country guest house of Malcolm and Lesley white who have organised the weekends for this period of time. Malcolm is a qualified instructor and facilitates as well as teaches on the weekends together with other qualified tutors from the Sage in Gateshead, Sunderland shiny Row college and other colleges around the country.
From April 2012 onwards another venue has been added Farncombe Estate in the Cotswolds, a dedicated teaching centre of excellence. This is the centre now for our Strugglers, Improvers, Blues, Country and Rock weekends.
