I have been having bass lessons from Pete for about 2 years, after having lessons with another teacher. My progress has been amazing since I started my lessons. Pete is an excellent, enthusiastic tutor and bass player, patient, very knowledgeable about music. I can't wait for my next lesson! |

I first came to Pete not knowing a thing about the bass. Within a few short lessons I got to grips with it fairly quickly thanks to his insightful lessons, Thanks Pete :) |

Pete is a great guy and a wonderful teacher, with a passion for his instrument that’s infectious. After having lessons with many bass players in Bath it was a relief to find a mature, inspiring player who could not only teach me electric bass technique but also help me develop into a gigging musician. If you doubt me then you should really check out his band: The Mandibles. I promise you - he is as good a teacher as he is a bassist (which is saying a lot!) |

Pete Gibbs has been teaching my son Bass Guitar for over four years. My son tells me that he is very relaxed and explains things well. He is young and not only teaches the kind of music my son is interested in, but also music and skills for graded exams. Pete has inspired a love of music and Bass Guitar which will stay with my son for life. |

Pete is an extremely talented bass player and teacher. He has an excellent knowledge of all styles of bass playing. He is able to communicate clearly and concisely how to play the bass. He is also very knowledgeable about musical theory so you don't just learn how to play exquisite bass lines, you learn why they sound so good. Pete is very friendly and flexible and provides all the materials you need to practice at home. I can't recommend him highly enough, I'm really enjoying learning to play the bass. |
