Biography

Musically trained classically in liverpool gaining a Diploma and an understanding of the Matthay method of relaxation & focus on the physical aspect of playing an instrument.
Began teaching piano while playing in bands on Merseyside, and several productions at Everyman Theatre. Formed partnersip in Linden Studio composing & arranging music for film/tv.
A session musician, and music teacher who adapts the teaching process according to the pupil. Follows the ABRSM syllabus, and teaches theory. Able to help students who don't read Music to broaden their knowledge of the instrument, and achieve more from playing by ear.
