Biography

Hello my name is Caroline. I am from a family of very keen musicians. I have 4 siblings, and I have vivid memories of touring the country performing our accordion in groups, as the tiny tots, and then moving up the ranks entertaining people with our band at local events.

The violin I wielded as an accessory from the age of 2, desperately trying to catch up with my older siblings, but lacking the attention span!......However I magically did progress on the violin very fast, and it has stayed as my favourite instrument, taking me abroad with orchestras, and letting me go to boarding school at 16.....(my parents blame enid blyton for all the mallory tower books that encouraged me on this path). Chethams music school was fantastic, and I loved every minute of my two years there, and it helped me get into all the music colleges for my degree, and then the 4 years there not being enough, I flew off to Boston, MA for another two years masters degree in playing the violin. Phew.
