Biography

Carol sang with the Swingle Singers for 8 years and finally became their musical director. She has been a professional singer since 1980, travelling all over the world. She has worked in many different genre including jazz at Ronnie Scott's, opera at La Scala Milan, musicals for BBC radio, film sessions such as Lord of the Rings, backing on a bjork album, close harmony with the Single Singers, contemporary music projects with composers such as Berio and Steve Reich, classical concerts such as the Proms and popular projects such as the world premiere of Paul McCartney's 'Ecce Cor Meum'.

She has been teaching since 1989. Carol has recently set up the Greatest Hits Choir www.greatesthitschoir.co.uk and will be taking some one day courses at Missenden Abbey from November 09.

Carol is an experienced vocal arranger having written for the Swingle Singers, Five Live and the King Singers. She has also composed music for BBC television.
