Biography

I have been playing guitar for 16 years and have come to appreciate a wide variety of styles. I aim to tailor lessons to an individuals interests by helping to ensure smooth and continuous learning.

The inspirations for the music I play include Pat Metheney, John Coltrane, Django Reinardt, Egberto Gismonti, Joe Pass, and music from traditional musicians such as Martin Simpson and Nic Jones

I also play the mandolin in a ceilidh band. We play traditional jigs, reel, hoedowns, polkas ... etc from the british isles, america and europe.
