Rahna has taught music in the secondary and HE sectors for many years, and is now teaching freelance and giving schools' workshops. Recent workshops in Indian music and dance have been very well-received.
Rahna has also worked as an examiner and moderator in music for a number of years.
She works as an accompanist and occasional MD for local shows.
Lessons emphasize learning for pleasure, and students are encouraged to play pieces that reflect their needs and preferences.
Many enter for exams, and students are entered for the exam that suits their requirements- ABRSM, Trinity Guildhall and Rock School. Students also participate in local music festivals as soloists and as ensembles.
