Biography

Hi. I have been teaching since 1988. I decided to become a full time music teacher in 2007. I have played and still continue to play all the instruments I teach in live settings. I have played in many bands and situations.

I have played in Rock / Funk / Jazz / Fusion / Metal / Blues / Pop bands. Also played in theatres / orchestras and backing reasonably famous people.

I teach people of all ages and abilities. I absolutely love what I do and this will become apparent if we should meet. I thoroughly enjoy seeing students progress as their confidence increases and their technical ability sky rockets. I believe EVERYBODY has some musical ability in them somewhere. Some are reluctant to let this out - but I try to support people to free their skill.

I record students playing so they have an audio record of their progress.

A number of students will go through their grades and just as many will chose not to. I love teaching music to people whatever their aspiration.
