Biography

Roland Studied at the Purcell School, with Suzanne Rosza. Previously studied with David Stone and Manoug Parikian. Also trained with Emmanuel Hurwitz, and subsequently trained abroad with Alexei Michlin, Stojian Kaltchev (both Quenn Elizabeth Prize Winners) and Paolo Borciani, leader of the Quartetto Italiano. Won Violin Performer's Diploma, and freelanced as Chamber and Orchestral Musician in Europe for 15 years.. also as Soloist in Switzerland and Italy.

Held Summer Masterclasses and taught at the RWCM in Cardiff. Tutor on Junior ESTA course in Brussels. Experienced Violin Teacher now lives in Bristol, UK and teaches Privately (registered in the PTS of the ISM.)
