Biography

Billy was born in Cheshire but grew up in Dorset learning his instrument through Dorset county youth orchestras. He was also head percussionist in the award winning Purbeck School bands.


Professional work has seen him tour the UK and Europe with various bands and theatre shows. Recent work has included a Sony advert for TV and radio sessions with Kerrang radio as well as published works receiving airplay with Radio One.


Billy enjoys teaching a range of students of all abilities and ages and has teaching bases in Bournemouth, Guildford and Reading.


He also provides tuition using Drumsense which is a drum tuition programme which uses a proven method based on books and playalong material by contemporary players and teachers.


His debut album 'Dangerous State of Mind' with band 51/50s was released on 29th June '09 and is available on iTunes and Amazon now.

He now splits his time between teaching and his own function band Nu Generation whilst working on original music projects.
