A few years ago, when my son Jack was 13 years old we bought him a starter drum kit. He was so keen he decided that he wanted to have lessons from a tutor. I knew Stuart Pinch who was in a band and he said that he would be able to teach Jack. From then and for about a year Jack received lessons every week at our house from Stuart. Stuart was very friendly and Jack found it very easy to get on with him and therefore easy to learn from him. We are indebted to Stuart in his teaching of Jack and know that whoever receives tuition from him will have an enjoyable and successful time.

I first started having drum lessons with Stu when I was 18. I went to his home and Stu explained all the different parts of the drum kit to meand by the end of the first lesson I began learning a basic 4/4 beat. For the next few lessons Stu was very patient as we worked on this and gradually worked on more difficult pieces. At this time I didn't have a kit of my own and was only practising with Stu once a week so I was amazed at what I was playing after about three months and bought a kit of my own. Once I had grasped the basics Stu began bringing more varied music into the lessons including Latin, Jazz and Rock beats andhe also played along with his bass guitar which gave me a real feel of timing and what it would be like playing in a band. I was really inspired by Stu's passion and enthusiasm for music and after about seven or eight months Iwas practising with a band.To present we have played in Cardiff, Swansea and various venues in the valleys and I would like to say a big thanks to Stu for his patiencein the early lessons and giving me a real passion for drumming.

Stuart is a very good drum teacher and I do very good peices of work with Stuart and lots of songs like back in black high way to hell.
