BEGINNERS WELCOME Andy teaches Brass and Guitar, both as a fun hobby and for those wishing to take formal exams. His lessons are enjoyable and rewarding and he is equally at home teaching children or adults. Lessons are tailored to the individual so why not phone for a chat to discuss your needs or preferences? Andy studied at the Royal College of Music with David Mason, (famous for his Picollo Trumpet solo on the Beatles 'Penny Lane'), and also with Philip Jones, (founder of the Philip Jones Brass Ensemble). His professional career has included classical and show orchestras, stage-bands and multi-instrumental cabaret throughout the world and in the cruise industry. He also provides a musical arrangement service, supplying band arrangements to artists working with live bands and is still active in the field of light entertainment and music. Specialities include good breathing and technique for brass instruments and teaching guitarists to read and understand music.
